Daniel L. Mengedoth, DDS

 

Dr. Dan Mengedoth has been caring for smiles since 1997, after earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of MN in Minneapolis, MN. His passion is educating patients, and applying his knowledge and experience in comprehensive and functional cosmetic dentistry. He has been a member of various study clubs, and has extensive training from some of the most prestigious dental professionals in the country. He has spent many hours training at The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL, and the Spear Dental Institute in Scottsdale, AZ.

In his free time, Dr. Dan enjoys spending time with his dental assistant/wife, Jackie, and their four boys. He also has an appreciation for and interest in classic cars, fast cars, and anything requiring gun powder. Independence Day is hands down his favorite holiday, and his dream dog is not-so-secretly the Doberman Pincher, even though he keeps rescuing dachshunds.

Brenda, Office Administrator

Brenda Dukek is the Office Administrator at Mengedoth Dental. This is a new position for Brenda as of Sept. 16th 2019. Brenda moved to Fargo in 2004 and started her career in the NICU as an LPN. This is where her friendship with Dan & Jackie began as they visited their first born Max. Throughout the years she has worked in both the clinical field as well as Information Technology, and had been up until her move to the dental office.

She lives in West Fargo where she enjoys spending time with her adult children, Michael (and wife Laura) who live in Fargo and Kristin, who recently moved back to the area from Crestview Florida.  Brenda stays very active spending time with her 6 grandchildren.  

Jackie, Dental Assistant and HR/Accounting

Jackie (Mari) Mengedoth has been walking and working alongside Dr. Mengedoth in various capacities since they met in 8th grade. She graduated from Shanley High School in Fargo, and received a BA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. In addition to her many years with Mengedoth Dental, she has worked in various businesses in management and customer service, and most recently has taken on the role of Dental Assistant at Mengedoth Dental.

Jackie and Dr. Dan were married in 1993, and are the proud parents of four handsome boys; Maximus, Austin, Samuel and Simon. Jackie and Dr. Dan also have adopted many dachshunds over the years. Jackie enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends. She also finds joy in singing at church.

Maria, Dental Assistant

Maria has been a Certified Registered Dental Assistant since graduating from the M State Dental Assisting program in Moorhead in 2018. She worked in oral surgery before joining Dr. Dan’s team. 

Maria enjoys reading and spending time with her family; husband Bob, son Geno, and dog Phoebe. She enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures and traditions.

Cali, Registered Dental Hygienist

Cali Johnson has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since graduating from M State in the Spring of 2021. She spent some time in the cities, then moved to Grand Rapids, and eventually moved back to the area in the Fall of 2022 so she could be close to family. She has been at Mengedoth Dental since the Spring of 2023.

Cali loves to spend time with her friends and family. Her and her husband, Devin, are enjoying being back in the area, near family. She loves reading in her spare time, loves a good DIY project, and working on a new craft.
